Happy Adoption Day!  Pansy and I adopted Zorro 6 years ago today.  We're so cute.

Financial irresponsibility totally pays off.  Went to the Common concert tonight.  I almost didn't buy a ticket because I saw Lenny Kravitz like 2 weeks ago and went to Vegas last weekend and that's just a lot of money all in one short period of time.  Well good thing I didn't listen to myself.  The concert was freakin' amazing.  Guest stars included M.C. Lite, Busta Rhymes, and Kanye West!  The DJ was amazing, Common did some bomb freestyle, and while it only lasted 90 minutes it was 90 minutes filled with nothing but incredible music (including a pretty rad medly/ode to hip hop).

They had a late show tonight, and another show tomorrow that may still have tix available.  Highly recommended.

Don't forget the CA Primaries on Feb 5!!  If you haven't already, I encourage you to check out Carolyn Kennedy's Op Ed piece in the NY Times in support of Obama (I think it's called "A President Like My Father").  Ted Kennedy is supposed to endorse him today, too.

If any of you LA locals feel like getting involved in the Obama campaign but think it's too late... It isn't.  I can give you stuff to do.  Oh yes I can.

We saw John Cho at El Cholo the other night and I got unreasonably excited.  Celebrity sightings are fun.
